Description:This cannon ball appears to be a cannon shell a opposed to the mortar ball as it has the larger fuse hole. Iron is in pretty good condition with no heavy ground action on any side. The fuse hole is nice and clean. There is a large "PR" painted on the side but it is not clear if that designates the place recovered or what.

To protect the old painting on the shell we have elected to not run it through electrolysis but will do that at no charge if the buyer prefers.

The shell is disarmed and lightly cleaned and lightly coated.
