Description:The 12pdr solid shot was workhorse of the Civil War. This is a nice condition ball from an old collection. Has a masking tape tag on it, but all I can make out is "12 pound" I didn't remove it lest the new owner can make out more. Carl has been able to discern some pretty interesting recovery locations from the shells in this location. A lot were from the Vicksburg area, but I cannot say on this one.
