Description: West Point style percussion fuse for use in the 3.8" James shell. Both brass parts are present and in great condition -- could be put in a shell. Threads are nice. Of interest is the mark on the underside of the anvil cap that perfectly fits the nipple -- without a percussion cap! The percussion cap must have moved off the slider nipple and thats probably why this one is in such great shape (not distorted from the explosion). Any of these are really tough to get nowadays complete and this one is especially nice.
