Location Recovered: Battle of Bailey's Creek (Deep Bottom), Virginia
Description: This is a tough bullet to find, particularly
in good shape.
This came out of the collection of a late Minneapolis area Doctor and his
type-written ID card is included. It ascribes the find location to the Battle of
Bailey's Creek where Hancock & Sheridan engaged the position Dick Ewell's troops
held . I do not know much of this engagement at "Deep Bottom," but it was
followed by the well known assault at the "Crater" at Petersburg.
