Description: This very rare shell was found in 1980 at Poison Springs area near Camden, Arkansas. A copy of a map showing the area where it was found will be provided with the purchase. One of only a couple known. Note the beautiful green Marshall Texas sabot with the notched flame grooves. Unseen on the bottom of the sabot are 4 intregal pins that fit into 4 holes on the shell.. The holes in the shell's bottom were to disarm it and then threaded to mount it on a board for display; this could be filled in. This shell is fired and has lost about 40% of the sabot's copper lip. Shell is cleaned, coated and disarmed.
