Description: Very desirable and beautiful bolt found mostly in the lower Mississippi and Alabama. The wrought iron sabot often deteriorated quickly and most don't have nearly this nice a sabot. The bolt displays a nice wide surface bearing band (bourrelet) with lathe markings. The shell has some nice casting marks so typical of CS manufacture and the prominent rounded blob on the bottom which often indicates Selma. This bolt is cleaned, coated and ready to enhance your collection!
